REHAU Rauvipex Uno Pre Insulated Pipe

Description

REHAU RAUVIPEX UNO is a flexible pre-insulated PE-Xa pipe containing a single carrier pipe for transporting heating or cooling water. It is suitable for heat pump connections, district heating, communal energy networks and underground connections between buildings.

The durable PE-Xa carrier pipe is surrounded by fine-pored PUR foam insulation. This specially developed insulation combines excellent thermal performance with improved bending flexibility, helping to reduce energy losses while making the pipe easier to handle and install.

RAUVIPEX features a fully welded longitudinal watertightness barrier, which helps protect the insulation against moisture penetration if the outer casing is locally damaged. Its robust corrugated outer jacket uses reinforced U-shaped crests for durability, combined with V-shaped troughs that allow the pipe to bend more easily.

The UNO configuration contains one carrier pipe within each insulated casing. Separate RAUVIPEX UNO pipes are therefore required for the flow and return sides of a heating or cooling circuit. This format is particularly useful for larger pipe sizes and installations where the flow and return pipes follow different routes.

Its flexible coiled construction allows longer continuous pipe runs to be installed with fewer underground connections, helping to reduce installation time and potential jointing points.

Ordering RAUVIPEX UNO Pipe

RAUVIPEX UNO contains one carrier pipe within an insulated outer casing. The product size identifies both the carrier-pipe diameter and the outer-casing diameter. For example, 50/125mm represents a 50mm PE-Xa carrier pipe within a 125mm outer casing.

Unless only a single service is required, separate lengths should be ordered for the flow and return pipework. Select the required carrier-pipe size and pipe length before ordering.

Compatible REHAU rubber end caps, connection fittings and joint-insulation components should be selected to match the chosen carrier-pipe and outer-casing dimensions.
