What is ScreedBoard 20?

Manufactured from recycled calcium sulphate and reinforced with cellulose fibres, ScreedBoard is a high density, high impact resistance, hard wearing surface featuring interlocking edges which makes them ideal for a multitude of floor constructions.

Why use ScreedBoard 20

ScreedBoard 20 is perfect for floors with an underfloor heating system because of its low thermal resistance and rapid heat transfer characteristics. ScreedBoard 20 also delivered excellent performance as a combined acoustic and underfloor heating applications.

The dry screed boards work by enabling underfloor heating systems to run at their most effective. When compared to commonly used floor finishes, the boards allow for ground water heat pumps and heat recovery systems to work at their most efficient making ScreedBoard a great solution for anyone looking to make use of renewable heating solutions. On top of this, ScreedBoard 20 floorboards accept ceramic tiles to add a luxury finish to your floor, as well as wooden laminate, carpet and Amtico vinyl flooring.

They also don’t contract and expand when exposed to water.

To assist with the install your ScreedBoards, so that is why we stock Cellecta ScreedBoard Fixing Tools and Cellecta ScreedBoard Adhesive. The tools consist of a fixing bar and laying batterns that are easy to use and provide accurate installation of the dry screed board flooring system. Using the Cellecta tools during the installation process helps to produce a seamless finish. The ScreedBoard adhesive is a unique, fast drying MCPU bonding adhesive that is applied along the tongue after it’s been laid and helps to provide a quick bond between boards and to create a further seamless finish.
