Description

REHAU RAUTHERMEX UNO is a flexible pre-insulated PE-Xa pipe containing a single carrier pipe for the efficient transport of heating water. Designed for applications where low heat loss is critical, it is particularly suited to district heating, communal heat networks and long-distance connections between energy centres and buildings.

The durable PE-Xa carrier pipe is surrounded by high-performance bonded PU foam insulation with a low thermal conductivity of 0.0199 W/mK. This helps minimise heat loss and maintain efficient heat transfer across longer pipe runs.

The fully bonded pipe construction provides strength and stability while removing the need to compensate for thermal expansion below ground. Its flexible coiled format also allows long continuous runs to be installed with fewer underground joints than traditional rigid pipe systems.

RAUTHERMEX UNO contains one carrier pipe within each insulated outer casing. Separate UNO pipes are generally required for the flow and return sides of a heating circuit, making the system suitable for larger carrier-pipe sizes or installations where the flow and return pipes need to follow different routes.

Ordering RAUTHERMEX UNO Pipe

RAUTHERMEX UNO contains one carrier pipe within an insulated outer casing. Where the product is shown as two dimensions, the first indicates the carrier-pipe diameter and the second indicates the outer-casing diameter. For example, 50/111mm represents a 50mm PE-Xa carrier pipe within a 111mm outer casing.

Unless only a single service is required, separate lengths should be ordered for the flow and return pipework. Select the required carrier-pipe size and pipe length before ordering.

Compatible REHAU rubber end caps, connection fittings and joint-insulation components should be selected to match the chosen carrier-pipe and outer-casing dimensions.
