Warmup DCM-PRO Electric Underfloor Heating Cable

The Warmup DCM-PRO Cable is designed for use with the Warmup DCM-PRO decoupling mat to create a flexible electric underfloor heating system.

The cable clips securely between the mat's castellations without requiring fixing tools. You can route it around the shape of the room and fixed objects, making the system particularly suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, and other irregularly shaped areas.

Different cable spacings can vary the installed heat output according to the floor construction, room requirements, and system design. When combined with the DCM-PRO mat, the system also provides an uncoupling layer that helps protect tiled floor finishes from movement-related cracking.

Variable Heat Output

The DCM-PRO cable can be installed at different spacings within the mat to achieve the specified heat output:

• 60mm spacing: approximately 225W/m²
• 90mm spacing: approximately 150W/m²
• 120mm spacing: approximately 112.5W/m²

The appropriate output must be confirmed as part of the heating design and must be suitable for the subfloor and chosen floor finish.

Installation Information

Select the cable size according to the calculated heated floor area, excluding permanent fixtures and other areas where underfloor heating should not be installed. Press the cable into the DCM-PRO mat at the spacing shown on the approved installation plan.

Do not cut, shorten, cross, or allow the heating cable to touch itself. Test its resistance before, during, and after installation, and record the results on the installation documentation.

The system must be controlled by a compatible thermostat and installed in accordance with the current Warmup instructions. Final electrical connections must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
