REHAU RAUVITHERM UNO is a lightweight and flexible pre-insulated PE-Xa pipe containing a single carrier pipe for transporting heating water. It is particularly suitable for heat pump installations, small heat networks and underground heating connections between separate buildings.
The corrosion-resistant PE-Xa carrier pipe is surrounded by flexible, closed-cell PE foam insulation and protected by a robust corrugated outer casing. Its non-bonded construction gives RAUVITHERM excellent flexibility, making the pipe easier to handle and route around changes in direction during installation.
RAUVITHERM UNO is supplied in flexible coils, allowing longer continuous pipe runs to be installed with fewer underground connections. This can reduce installation time and the number of potential jointing points compared with rigid pipe systems.
The UNO configuration contains one carrier pipe within each insulated casing. Separate RAUVITHERM UNO pipes are generally required for the flow and return sides of a heating circuit. This arrangement is also useful where flow and return pipes need to follow different routes.
RAUVITHERM UNO contains one carrier pipe within an insulated outer casing. Where the product is shown as two dimensions, the first indicates the carrier-pipe diameter and the second indicates the outer-casing diameter. For example, 40/120mm represents a 40mm PE-Xa carrier pipe within a 120mm outer casing.
Unless only a single service is required, separate lengths should be ordered for the flow and return pipework. Select the required carrier-pipe size and pipe length before ordering.
Compatible REHAU dry end caps, connection fittings and joint-insulation components should be selected to match the chosen carrier-pipe and outer-casing dimensions.
