The WARMUS Single Edge Upside Down Heat Emission Plate is designed for installing wet underfloor heating beneath an existing suspended timber floor. It allows the system to be fitted from below, making it particularly useful for renovation projects where lifting floorboards or increasing the finished floor height would be difficult.
Manufactured from aluminium, the plate holds the underfloor heating pipe securely against the underside of the floor and helps transfer heat evenly across the surface above. Its single-channel design is suitable for 16mm underfloor heating pipe.
The plate can be secured beneath the floorboards from within the joist space. Insulation should then be fitted closely below the plates and pipework to reduce downward heat loss and direct more heat into the room.
Secure the plates firmly against the underside of the floorboards, following the designed pipe layout. Feed the pipe through the joists and press it carefully into the plate channels. Fit suitable insulation directly beneath the completed installation to minimise heat loss into the floor void.
The underfloor heating system should be professionally designed to account for the room heat loss, floor covering, joist layout, pipe spacing and required water temperature.
