They are suitable for all room geometries and do not need to be installed right to the edge of the floor. The Uponor Minitec product line includes all the components required for fitting in doorways and to adjoining walls.  The Uponor Minitec panel for laying the PE-Xa pipes 9.9 x 1.1 mm can be installed on any existing screed, timber or tiled floor.

Thanks to its low panel height of 12mm, Uponor Minitec is particularly suitable for integration into existing buildings during renovations. The panels are equipped with punched holes in between the castellations, which ensures, that the levelling compound can spread easily and bonds firmly with the substructure. The rear side of the panel is equipped with an adhesive surface, ensuring a secure fixture to the floor during installation. The self-adhesive edging strip with the self-adhesive panel is available in L and I profile creates a seal along the wall. The levelling layer is installed just above the raised panel, resulting in an installation height of only 15 mm. After a short drying time, the desired floor covering can be placed directly onto the surface.

The panel is equipped with specially designed panels for the laying of the pipe in 90° and also in 45° bends. The pipes are held in place by the castellation on the Minitec panel, ensuring that the installation meets the relevant standards.
The adhesive surface ensures secure fixture to the floor.

Tight pipe fixation allows easy lap installation to cover the entire underfloor heating surface. The levelling compound bonds firmly with the panel thanks to punched holes in the structure. As the pipe is right below the top floor layer, heat-up times are short and Uponor Minitec can be operated at low heating water temperatures. Therefore, it is ideal for heat pumps and the use of renewable energy
