Uponor Minitec is a low-profile, water-based underfloor heating system designed for renovation and retrofit projects. With a total system build-up of approximately 15mm before the final floor covering, it is ideal for rooms where increasing the floor height needs to be kept to a minimum.
The system combines self-adhesive Minitec panels with flexible 9.9mm Uponor PE-Xa pipe. It can be installed over suitable existing screed, timber or tiled floors, subject to the correct preparation and levelling compound being used.
Why Choose Uponor Minitec?
Traditional underfloor heating systems can require a substantial floor build-up. Uponor Minitec provides the comfort of water-based underfloor heating while minimising the impact on existing floor levels, thresholds and door heights.
The perforated panel design allows the approved levelling compound to flow through the panel and bond securely with the prepared subfloor. Because the heating pipe is positioned close to the finished surface, the system provides even heat distribution without the deeper screed layer associated with conventional underfloor heating.
Our Uponor Minitec pack builder makes it easier to select the components required for your project. Simply enter the heated floor area and number of heating zones, and the pack will be calculated for you.
