The WARMUS Double Heat Emission Plate is designed to improve heat transfer in wet underfloor heating systems installed in suspended timber and compatible floating-floor constructions.
Manufactured from aluminium, the plate conducts heat away from the underfloor heating pipe and distributes it across a larger area beneath the finished floor. This helps create a more uniform floor surface temperature and improves heat transfer into the room.
Each plate features two preformed pipe channels at 200mm centres. Separate options are available for 16mm and 20mm underfloor heating pipe, so the correct plate size must be selected to match the pipe being installed.
Choose the 16mm or 20mm option based on the outer diameter of your underfloor heating pipe. The plate channel must fit the pipe correctly to provide secure retention and effective heat transfer.
Install the plates in accordance with the designed pipe layout, ensuring they are correctly supported and in close contact with the floor construction above. Press the pipe carefully into the preformed channels without damaging or distorting it.
Suitable insulation should be fitted beneath the plates and pipework to reduce downward heat loss and direct more heat towards the occupied space. Plate quantities are indicative and may vary depending on the room dimensions, joist layout, and system design.
